Ox-Imager CS™ for Medical
Ox-Imager CS measures important indicators of tissue health, specifically tissue blood oxygen saturation (StO2), oxy-hemoglobin (HbO2), and deoxy-hemoglobin (HbR), as well as providing a surface color photograph. All of these measurements are made and displayed in real-time.
Measuring StO2 is a critical indicator of tissue health and healing, but current measurement methods fall into two camps: cheap and inaccurate or; expensive with very limited (1-2cm) coverage and information. The Ox-Imager CS addresses the shortcomings of existing technologies with a non-contact, light-based imaging system that is more accurate, and has a wider-field (15x20cm) of measurement in real-time. These advantages can lead to early intervention, which reduces costs and increases patient quality-of-life.
The Ox-Imager CS is indicated for use to determine oxygenation levels in superficial tissues for patients with potential circulatory compromise.
The Ox-Imager CS system is intended for use by healthcare professionals as a non-invasive tissue oxygenation measurement system that reports an approximate value of Oxygen Saturation (StO2), Oxy-hemoglobin (HbO2) and Deoxy-hemoglobin (HbR) in superficial tissue.
